Q. How do I use it?
A. Turn the switch to the “ON” position (the Oroshi plate rotates), and push the peeled vegetables into the slot while placing them against the edge of the slot. Push the vegetables while turning them left and right like turning a door knob to cleanly unload them.
The coarseness can be adjusted depending on how hard or hard you press the vegetable. (Strong pressure: coarse / Weak pressure: fine)
When vegetables become small, please be sure to use the attached push stick.
Q. What is the rated usage time?
A. About 5 minutes. A. The motor may burn out and stop if it is used for a long time.
Note: Thermal protector function is not provided.
Q. What is the processing capacity?
A. About 3 kg can be processed per minute.
Q. How do I wash it?
A. Remove the push rod, feed port, top cover, and oroshi plate from the main unit and wash them with water. After that, wipe off any dirt or water droplets with a cloth wrung out tightly.
When using detergent, be sure to use a neutral detergent. Do not use a dryer or boiling water.
Q. What is the size of the slot?
A. It is D-shaped, 134mm x 90mm. A whole medium-sized yam can be placed in it.
Q. Won’t the yam fall down?
A. When grating yams with strong viscosity, wet the Oroshi board and feeder first with water before grating. Natural yams tend to accumulate on the Oroshi plate, so please turn off the machine and take them out from the top by hand.
Q. What can be unloaded?
A. You can grate yams. A small amount of daikon radish and carrot can be grated.
However, we recommend the RHG-15 for its durability, coarseness, and past performance.
Q. Can ginger be unloaded?
A. Ginger can be unloaded, but it is necessary to remove the fibers frequently because they tend to accumulate on the Oroshi plate due to its tough fibers.
Q. Can garlic be grated?
A. It can be unroasted, but you need to press it with a pusher because the grains are small. Since there is about 1 to 2 mm between the Oroshi board and the push stick, the garlic will not unload and will fall to the bottom of the board. Please understand in advance that there is work to remove the fallen grains and that 1 to 2 mm is wasted for each grain. (The ungrated and the ungrated will be mixed together.)
