Difference from conventional products and other companies’ products

Peltier modules manufactured by Sensor Controls, Inc. have a completely different internal structure from those sold in Akihabara, etc., which are priced from 1,500 to 4,000 yen and manufactured in Japan.

A typical Peltier module maintains its shape by sandwiching a P/N semiconductor element between two supports (see figure below). (See the figure below.) However, Sensor Controls, Inc. has succeeded in placing and fixing a single support in the center by developing its own semiconductor technology.

What are the advantages?

The heat of the P/N semiconductor device is directly transferred to the aluminum surface, thus increasing the heat transfer rate. In addition, the support placed in the center acts as a heat absorber, which provides high resistance to thermal stress and a long product life without deterioration.
Proof: Quality data remained unchanged after 500,000 cycles of repeated cooling and heating tests from 10°C to 100°C.
