In a through-root mill (medium crusher), a fixed mortar-shaped outer millstone rotates with a concave-convex inner millstone, and the material in the gap is subjected to grinding and grinding action. The granulation size and capacity can be easily changed by adjusting the material feed rate and the gap size. The simple structure of the hopper, mill body, and discharge port makes it a versatile device that can be easily handled as a single unit.

- The outer millstone is fixed and the inner millstone rotates to produce a grinding action.
- The position of the inner millstone can be slid by operating the handle to adjust the gap between it and the outer millstone.
During operation, the material becomes finer when the gap is narrowed, and coarser when the gap is widened. - The standard speed is 270 rpm, but it can be changed within the range of 200~500 rpm. (The speed can be changed within the range of 200~500 rpm (by inverter).
- Standard hopper capacity is 25L. The feed volume can be adjusted with the feeding shutter.
- The standard specification is made of FC/SS, but SUS304 is also available as a special specification.

Flight Conveyor – NISHIMURA MACHINE WORKS CO.LTD.

A flight conveyor is a mechanical conveyor that runs horizontally and vertically, with chains on either side or in the center of the conveyor in the direction of travel, and flight bars (flat plates) attached to the chains.
