Bucket Elevator – NISHIMURA MACHINE WORKS CO.LTD.

It can be designed to any height in the range of 10 meters.

A bucket elevator (bucket conveyor) is an efficient device for conveying powders and granules vertically. It consists of many buckets, made of either resin or metal, attached to a belt material hung vertically and rotated. The capacity of the powder conveyance is determined by the volume of the buckets.

Bucket Conveyor

A bucket conveyor is a vertical conveying method for powder and granular materials. It is the most economical and mass-producing method. It consists of an upper drive pulley, a lower tail pulley, and a belt material interposed between them. Five bucket sizes are available, and models are available according to the size of the bucket. Bucket materials are PP, SS, and SUS. The belt and bucket are contained in a sealed space within the case, so there is no dust or powder leakage. The centrifugal discharge system is suitable for fine powders, while the induction discharge method is suitable for granular materials with large particles. A take-up meander adjustment guide is provided on the lower tail pulley side.

CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE

Nishimura Machinery Works was founded in 1934. The company has led the rice flour industry and contributed to the Japanese food industry by pioneering a new market for rice flour, which was once called “beifun” (rice flour) and named “komeko” (rice flour). In addition to laying the foundation of powder handling through the development of equipment and provision of plants for new rice flour applications, we have formed a corporate culture that is attuned to needs by listening to the voices of those on the frontlines. We listen to the needs of each and every manager, supervisor, administrator, and worker, and respond with sincerity.

DEVELOPMENT

One out of every three employees is employed as an engineer, creating a system that allows us to always respond quickly to everything from powder equipment to utility design. We also have construction supervisors who are well versed in powder and granular equipment, and they are responsible for completing everything from equipment delivery to installation and trial operation. Meanwhile, the Nishimura New Techno Laboratory 21 is located at the company’s headquarters, and is used to conduct onsite testing to evaluate equipment performance, durability, and sample quality, as well as to develop our own products. In recent years, the company has focused on the chemical, medical, and environmental fields, and is also conducting research into new materials.

THAILAND LOCAL CORPORATION

In 2011, we launched a project to establish a local subsidiary in Southeast Asia, and in 2015 we opened a Thai subsidiary*. We provide full support to Japanese companies expanding into Southeast Asia. We are at the forefront of providing the resources necessary to expand sales channels, from on-site surveys, to the construction and expansion of plants, to the dispatch of supervisors, to the after-sales maintenance of product equipment. We support our customers’ global strategies with Japan-quality machinery and technology, and also contribute to the promotion of Japanese food culture.
