■ Orientation identification method
A method of applying in-plane thermal diffusivity angle distribution measurement. The speed of heat transfer (thermal diffusivity) differs depending on the fiber content and orientation.
Therefore it becomes possible to clarify the fiber orientation distribution by measuring the thermal diffusivity in all directions.

The specimen is mounted on the testing machine so that the front side (coated surface) of the specimen is subjected to water pressure, and the specified water pressure is applied by turning the manual handle.
(In the case of waterproof test of textile products, the water pressure is applied at the rate of 100 kPa per minute while watching the pressure gauge, and the pressure gauge reads the water pressure (kPa) when water comes out from three points on the back side of the test piece.
