By monitoring the exhaust gas temperature, it is used in the optimal control of protection and exhaust gas after-treatment system of the exhaust system parts. We contribute to the improvement of clean and fuel efficiency of the exhaust gas.
The wide range temperature sensor uses a thermostat sensing element to measure from low temperature up to 900℃ exhaust gas. Installed in the exhaust pipe, this sensor contributes to better fuel economy and cleaner emissions by monitoring exhaust gas temperature for the protection of exhaust components and optimization of exhaust after treatment control.

Application

Zirconia Oxygen Sensor – NGK SPARK PLUG CO.LTD.
This sensor is utilized for the air-fuel ratio control of the exhaust gas.
Porous electrodes are placed on two sides of a zirconia ceramic element. When one side is exposed to air and the opposite side to exhaust gas, a voltage is generated in response to the difference in O2 concentration. This property can be used to control the air-fuel ratio.

NOx Sensor for NOx aftertreatment system
The NOx sensor is part of the NOx reduction aftertreatment system used in diesel vehicles with urea based SCR systems. The sensor located upstream of the SCR catalyst directly measures the engine-out NOx gas concentration, which helps determine the optimum amount of urea injection. The NOx sensor downstream of the SCR catalyst is used to monitor the performance of the catalyst. Accurate NOx measurement is in high demand to comply with increasingly strict NOx emissions regulations. Wide Range Oxygen Sensor ZFAS®-U2 – NGK SPARK PLUG CO.LTD.
By controlling in combination with a dedicated interface, it can control in accordance with the concentration of oxygen in the exhaust gas.
Application
Paired with a special interface circuit, this sensor can produce an electric current corresponding to the exhaust gas O2 concentration. This sensor can be used for control over a wide range of air-fuel ratios from precise stoichiometric control, to lean burn, to enrichment for component protection. The capability of lean measurement enables control for lean burn and diesel engines.
