VIBRO-CONVEYOR FIR DRYER – Sugiyama Heavy Industrial


Heating elements are mounted in the upper casing, and materials are continuously heated and dried while vibratory conveyance is performed.

Efficient, continuous heating is possible due to the fluidization of materials through vibration. Vibratory conveying prevents excessive external forces from being applied to the material being conveyed, thus enabling the conveying of granules, pellets, etc. without powdering or breakage of grains. The heater can be selected according to the target material.

Vibrating Conveyor Dryer

This device is used to dry materials during the conveying process. It consists of a vibrating conveyor trough supported by springs on the base, two motors for vibration generation, and an electric heater attached to the upper casing. The trough and upper casing are bellows-connected to prevent vibration from propagating to the upper casing. The electric heater capacity is set according to the conveying distance and the specific heat and moisture content of the material.

  • Synchronized motion of the transport trough and cushion spring resonance
  • Vibration reduces contact between the trough surface and the material
  • Fluidizes the material, enabling uniform heating and drying
  • Far-infrared heaters generate far-infrared rays with a wavelength range of 3 μm to 1000 μm
  • Electric heater unit is 0.6 kW per unit
  • Various capacities of heating elements, such as far-infrared ceramic heaters and kanthal heaters, can be selected

Options:

  • Trough and inlet/outlet lines can be hermetically sealed to allow gas atmosphere replacement
  • Double structure of the punching trough enables classification and discharge of materials above and below the punching trough
