PC-R9D series HAST Chambers

The PC-R9D series HAST chambers are equipped with the latest temperature humidity program controller, and have advanced interface functions such as a LCD touch panel and a function remotely controlled by an external terminal.

Improvements with the new controller

New high-precision temperature humidity program controller The new temperature humidity controller enables more accurate accelerated evaluation when compared to conventional HAST chambers. It is also easy to set up operations with an interactive touch key input system.

Improvements with the new controller

MENU screen
MONITOR, TREND GRAPH, MODE SET, PROGRAM, TEST NAME and OTHERS are displayed. Touching each desired key selects that screen.

TREND GRAPH display screen
The progress state of a program is displayed in a color graph and can be confirmed at a glance. The scaling function that a graph becomes easy to read by changing the scale range of temperature and time is installed.

TROUBLE MONITOR screen
The alarm that occurred is displayed in redas “critical alarm” , and the alarm nameand the date and time of occurrence aredisplayed.

MONITOR screen
The operation state is displayed in color for easy reading. The remaining test time can be confirmed during a test. This is an opening screen at power-on.

MODE SET screen
The setting keys for the operation mode, execution mode, key lock operation, STD/HUM selection, and exhaust mode are displayed. Touch the required key to set each mode.

MEASURES screen when an alarm is activated
Equipped with a message function that displays the cause and countermeasures when an alarm is activated. It is possible to perform recovery operation from the alarm state by operating the device while looking at the displayed contents.

Improvements with the new controller

Electric clamp and slide tray
An electric clamp method that can open / close the door only by pressing a button is employed. In addition, as a slide tray which can draw the door toward you is equipped, it is easy to put samples in and taking them out, Operator safety is protected by eliminating the manual work in the hot chamber to remove the sample after testing.
Voltage apply terminals on the inner face of the door
As the voltage apply terminals are installed on the inner face of the door, the connection work with samples in a bias test can be easily performed on the outside of the door. 20 voltage apply terminals are installed as standard, and can be expanded up to 100 terminals as option.

 

Dual vessel structure with excellent performance

Test chamber and steam generator are completely separated and independent.
The dual vessel structure consisting of two chambers, the test chamber and the steam generator which are completely separated and independent, is employed. Compared to the single vessel structure where both vessels are installed in one chamber, the dual vessel structure has less mutual thermal influence between the test chamber (DRY bulb) and the steam generator (WET bulb). In addition, the effective dimension is large, and the working humidity range is wide. The round shaped chamber that is excellent in strength and that can enlarge the effective space to the maximum is used.
