A structural design focused on meeting the US Department of Defense military standards (MIL) achieves an exceptionally robust structure capable of withstanding vibrations up to 1.92G.
The chiller can also be relied on in settings where extreme vibrations are the norm, such as long distance overseas transport.

Bottom-top separator design meets IP-x4 water resistance standards

When used outside, the PCU-SU Series bottom-top separator structure protects electrical components and other parts from the elements.
The design achieves exceptional waterproof performance that exceed the demanding criteria of the JIS IP-x4 testing standard.

Three-valve control / Wide-range

“Three-valve control enables a wide-range of applications.”

In addition to a main valve, PCU-SL Series chillers have a cooling valve for controlling low-temperature refrigerant and a heating valve for controlling exhaust heat that make them compatible with a wide-range of usage conditions.

A wide range spanning -5℃ to 45℃

A triple-valve control achieves flexibility for meeting every type of chiller application. One of the triple-valve’s most impressive features is its ability to lower the temperature of coolant circulating back to the compressor by bypassing low-temperature coolant. While the condensers in older model chillers stop running when they take in coolant at high temperatures, the triple-valve control makes it possible to run the chiller with circulating water at very high temperatures above 45ºC, as well as at very low temperatures below -5ºC. Additionally, a heating valve that releases heat after heat exchange achieves heat-less operation that reduces a common source of breakdowns and also saves energy.
