Light and compact one-way rotation type air motor which starts faster

A rotor is eccentrically incorporated into a casing. A vane, which slides circumferentially, is inserted into this rotor. To seal the end of this vane and the casing, air is pressed to the bottom of the vane.
Compressed air that enters from the air supplying port pushes up the vane and turns the rotor. Air that has finished its function is exhausted from another exhaust port.

SPECIALTY

  1. This is a one-way rotation air motor. The motor has a rated rotating speed of 1800 r.p.m. Therefore, it is useful in the same way as an electric motor.
  2. The air motor has the same size of an output axis and installation flange as the electric motor with a rated output.
  3. The motor’s rotational direction can be changed by replacement with components.
  4. The motor is useful vertically.
  5. A face, flange or base is fixed on the motor.

Note

  • Designate the motor’s rotational direction. Connect an air supply opening to an IN-designated port.
  • Ensure installation of an air filter and a lubricator (line oiler) to the air supplying line.
  • Avoid, to the greatest degree possible, operating the motor for a long time at a speed exceeding the rated rotating speed. Such operation causes trouble.
  • A practical minimum rotating speed is 800 r.p.m. When using the motor with rotating speeds less than 800 r.p.m., select an air motor with a reducer.
  • No process for control of an exhaust flow (control by a meter-out circuit) is available.
