Hitachi’s new technology achieves high rated cooling COP*1
Rated cooling COP has been improved in all models by installing high-efficiency inverter scroll compressors and improving the refrigeration cycle and water-side heat exchanger.

■Technology to improve performance during low-load operation
Heat exchanger (Type 375 and 500)

Low-load performance-enhancing path structure
A heat exchanger path structure is employed to maximize heat exchanger performance during low-load operation. The heat exchanger is divided into upper and lower sections, and the flow path is narrowed as it moves downstream of the heat exchanger to raise the refrigerant flow velocity and improve the heat transfer coefficient. Cooling capacity is increased and energy efficiency is improved.

Sigma (Σ) shaped heat exchanger
The two-fan structure is designed to improve efficiency during low-load operation. The Σ (sigma) shaped heat exchanger is adopted to maximize the effect of this two-fan structure and to improve heat exchanger performance.

Bellmouth (190” and larger)
Long bellmouth structure
The multi-stage enlarged structure significantly reduces fan input by smoothing the airflow. Furthermore, the long bellmouth suppresses air leakage and achieves high efficiency over a wide operating range.

Compressor (Model 190 and above)
Improved low-load operating efficiency
The oil supply distribution system for the compressor mechanism has been improved (optimization of oil supply volume) to suppress excessive oil and improve efficiency in the high-speed rotation range.

Module control functions that can be used for various local systems are provided as standard.
Controls up to 8 modules per group (maximum cooling capacity of 400 kW)
Module control function is standard. No dedicated controller for controlling the number of modules is required.

Operates with the number of units appropriate for the load.

Rotation function
Monitors the operation time of each module and rotates the modules according to the operation time.

Operation at abnormal shutdown
Avoids the risk of complete shutdown. The module that has stopped abnormally is disconnected from the control system, and operation is continued with the normal module.

Elevator loading, installation, and ease of installation are taken into consideration

The 11-person elevator can be used for delivery. (except Model 500)

Built-in Active Filter for Harmonics (for modification) (except Models 75 and 125)
A built-in active filter that can be installed inside the chiller unit is available for harmonics. (Shipped with the unit built-in.) * Available for 200V class only (400V class only)

Expanded Capacity Control Range for Standard Specifications
The basic configuration of the refrigeration cycle has been reviewed to expand the capacity control range for standard specifications. This enables chilled water to be supplied at a more stable outlet water temperature even under low loads.

Equipped with demand functions as standard
Up to 5 functions can be selected from 9 functions: current demand / forced thermo OFF / maximum load limit / forced full load / 2 temperature switching / night shift / blower forced operation / external set temperature / pump forced operation. It can also be used as a self-demand function to save power.

*Optional parts (connector kit: CCK-1) are required.
