Daiei Seisakusho Co. began manufacturing and selling industrial centrifuges developed in-house in 1968, and began developing and selling food-related models in 1972.
At the time of development, most metalworking factories used a method of processing and manufacturing metal by using a large amount of oil and a little frictional heat when making screws and other products.
The products and metal scraps were covered with a large amount of oil, and removing the oil was time-consuming, so a centrifugal separator was built to remove the oil from the metal using centrifugal force.
The oil recovered by the separator is reused for products as well as metal scraps, and the absence of oil in the recovery of metal scraps makes the recovery process easier and more advantageous.
At present, centrifugal separators are used for dehydrating and de-oiling vegetables and other items at food processing plants in school lunchrooms, meal centers, major food manufacturers, and major restaurant chains, and for draining cut vegetables and draining oil from fried foods.
For oil draining of fried food, it is not enough to drain 100% of the oil, but we have also developed an operation panel that controls the number of revolutions and time to respond to requests to lower the oil content to 20%, for example.
Other products include automatic egg-cracking machines. This machine separates eggs into shells and contents after washing and disinfecting them, and can process about 1,500 to 2,000 eggs at a time.
The food centrifuge is not only easy to use but also hygienic.
Instead of using a cloth bag or stainless steel mesh for the inner basket, a polyethylene colander basket (utility model registration No. 1974806), which is lightweight and easy to handle, is used to prevent foreign objects from mixing with the ingredients.
